Lush's Solid Foundation

40. Forty seems to be the new requirement for all cosmetic brands launching foundation. Since Rihanna's Fenty Beauty launched their line Fall 2016, all other brands are following suit. As the case with Lush.

Let's talk about innovation!

Lush has announced that the brand will be discontinuing it's Emotional Brilliance cosmetics line. However, they have something special to put in its place!

Yes, no more cardboard boxes to dispose of. The Slap Sticks is now available in 18 countries. The formula contains argan, jojoba, and coconut oils along with candelilla, sunflower and Turkish Rose waxes. Speaking of, the brand states that there is 45% coconut oil in the formula. All of the ingredients are ethically sourced and support women in work and children in education.

Although the product is packaging free, Lush recommends storing in a reusable container to ensure its freshness.

I have always admired the Lush brand from before I started my career developing products. I could not just walk past their store without being entrapped by the intoxicating smells drawing me inside.

Do you shop with Lush? Would you buy this?

Update: The Slap Sticks were limited edition for only a month of sales! Did you buy?
